ANOTHER MINOR UPDATE - 08 May 2021

  • Fixed bug that caused server sided crashing
  • Added option in "Extra" to remove Shotgun Sparks. Also toggleable by /shotgunsparks 0/1
  • Reduced dagger delay from 346 to 326 (to match best in-class ijji daggers - same as what we've done for other classes of weapons)
  • Slightly updated to censoring filter

MINOR UPDATE - 05 May 2021

Hey @everyone, we are releasing a minor follow up update with some fixes and features as we shift focus to more bug fixes.

  • Added a censoring system for chat/character/clan/room names to help the streamers (will build on this in future)
  • Fixed issue with linking discord accounts with no avatars
  • Fixed issue with admin unlinking discord accounts
  • Added capability to update discord avatars in-game on relaunch (when you change them in discord)
  • Make discord linked accounts have light purple color (instead of dark purple)
  • Few other minor Discord -- GunZ integration fixes

FEATURE UPDATE - 03 May 2021

Hey @everyone , we are really happy to see the increase in activity over the past few days and more motivated to develop more updates for our community! This update is something we've been working on for a long time and are finally ready to release. Keep in mind, some of these are never before seen features in a GunZ server and may potentially face some issues as we monitor their progress and stability.

We will be working on several of the bug fixes and requests you guys have mentioned following this update. Thank you for the continued support!

  • The biggest feature of this update is improved Discord and GunZ integration!

  • Allows linking of iGunZ account with Discord account (enter /discord in game lobby)

  • Once linked you can:

  • Display Discord avatar next to your name in-game and lobby/room

  • Can type FROM Discord into game lobby using #free-channel (not clan/private channels)

  • Special colored name

  • Display messages from free channel/clan channel/private lobby to Discord and allow users to ping @Play and other users directly from lobby

  • Allow admins to announce a message FROM Discord to in-game

  • Bot can add/remove the @Play role

  • And various other bot features (type !help in any Discord channel)

  • Fixed bug where some rooms were not allowed to host 16 players

  • Fixed bug where players took damage from dagger lunge despite having "Godmode" enabled in training

  • Fixed some in-game message texts

  • Changed "Let's Rock!" Discord role to "Play"

MEGA UPDATE TIME - 31 Jan 2021

Hello @everyone , hope you guys enjoyed the nostalgia ride with @LGKeiz and the LegacyGamers holiday event! We are now back with more iGunZ updates. All features in this update took a LOT of time and skill to develop with major credit to the incredible @Finn!

  • Replaced the slow launcher with one that takes 20x lesser time to update

  • Completely changed the file system for faster loading speeds and eliminated minor game freezes while maintaining strong security (every file, including all maps, needs to be updated because of this)

  • Added Discord Rich Presence - you will be able to display name, level, room title, etc. under your discord profile while in-game

  • New animated loading screen (more in future)

  • Added a new game mode: SKILLMAP

  • Added 24 skillmaps (send us your feedback on difficulty of current skillmaps and requests for other skillmaps!)

  • Boxes indicating start and finish areas for skillmaps

  • Ability to save and teleport to location (total number of teleports are displayed in your final results)

  • Use /tp save to save current position, /tp go to return to last saved position, /tp reset to reset time/teleport count and return to spawn point

  • Ability to FLY in untimed mode to explore the skillmap and practice

  • Use /fly to toggle on/off the fly mode and hold "C" key to fly

  • Time yourself and view other players' times and teleport counts while running skillmaps together

  • Other players can NOT attack/flip/blast you in this mode so you can parkour without fear

  • Show off your results and recordings in #media on discord
